Don’t Over Do It
How does my writing come out of me? It comes when I let it. It comes when I listen to the inner wisdom when it says, “Stop” and let the juices simmer. They don’t have to simmer in any particular way. A particularly brilliant piece came after an hour or so at the computer relieved of over-stirring and allowed to simmer. How, in front of the TV, 5 minutes of a talk show with two old but well plasticized celebs. A connection? Who cares. How does your brilliance come out of you?
What says more than a metaphor?
While spending time on twitter this morning, I checked out someone compelled to re-tweet one of my posts. My investigation drew me to a very intriguing gallery and then a blog with this post, “Restarting a neglected blog.” I skimmed the article and was compelled to share my find with you. A picture says a thousand words; a metaphor creates a thousand pictures. A picture that is a metaphor leaves me speechless.
